Ink & Tea Mornings

Begin your Thursday with intention. In the quiet warmth of Charmaro’s tea house, you’ll slow down, pick up a brush, and let ink lead the way — guided by the practice of Shufa (書法), Chinese calligraphy as a mindfulness art.

What to Expect

No experience with calligraphy or tea is needed. This is a morning for presence, not performance. You’ll be guided through foundational brushstrokes while Charmaro’s artisan teas accompany each moment — the ritual of pouring and the ritual of ink becoming one unhurried practice.

Hosted by Teresa Kung of Calligraphy Zen and the team at Charmaro. All brushes, ink, and paper are provided. Space is intentionally kept small for an intimate experience.
